A note from Sheeba

Hello Lovely People!

Can you believe that June is upon us and we are heading into the summer season of our lives?

I have found that this season is a great time for me consider and reflect on why I do the things I do.

I take time to see what is working for my business, where changes need to be made, what resources need to be added, and what accountability would help me to continue moving forward.

How about you?

LEADERSHIP TIP:

What we do over and over leaves a pattern behind.

Some patterns are essentially a road map for others to follow. Their why is to also leave the same type of pattern behind as a road map for others to follow.

When we follow along others’ patterns we understand what we are doing, but sometimes the why is lost in the fabric or in intricate designs.

As a leader stepping into new pathways, you need to have a definite “why” to what you are paving the way for. Not being clear can lend to walking in circles, not moving forward at all, or in the midst of a stressful situation.

Making decisions without understanding your WHY only leads to greater levels of frustration and disharmony.

Sheeba, if you need some clarity on how to find your why or how to navigate out of a situation that may be becoming stressful right now, let’s set up a time to talk.

I’d love to help.

COACHING QUESTION:

What is guiding you as a leader of your team or business?

Is it to help others improve their skills, or is it to assemble the talents and skills of others to complete a goal?

You will need a different approach for each of these to get the outcome you desire.

Why is it important to work with a Mentor Coach?

When was the last time you worked with a Mentor Coach? Was it during your coach training program? Was it to renew your credentials? Or was it to get your credentials with ICF? These are all great reasons to work with a Mentor Coach BUT not the only reasons.

I have had practitioners tell me that working with a Mentor Coach brought more awareness around their listening, raised their confidence to work with clients, and helped them in their powerful questioning within a session.

How about you? Why is it important for YOU to work with a Mentor Coach?

Professional Coaches:

If you are renewing your application for ACC or PCC credentialing with ICF, or would simply like to be more confident with the coaching process, then join me.  I am offering an eight week group mentoring program that allows you to learn and grow in your skills, confidence and competence as a coach. I have found that when you are in the presence of other coaches, you will learn so much that you can take away and use as a practitioner in the coaching profession. This course begins September 11th. Registration begins now for this course.

Some coaches wait until the last minute to complete this requirement. However, the mentoring process is to be completed over a 3-month process.

If you would like to get some continuing education credits instead, well this is also an option for you. So, come and join me for this time together!
