A note from Sheeba
Hello Lovely People!
It has been a couple of busy weeks here for me. I walked into Costco the other day and saw Christmas trees up and I almost had to walk out the door. The days are passing by too quickly!
So, what has kept me busy you might ask??
Well, my website just got a face lift, thanks to Artist + Artist. And you know whenever that happens, it takes time for all the moving parts to come together. If you have a chance, take a look and drop me a note to let me know your thoughts.
Sheeba, I often speak about thriving in your leadership. It is important to me because I see so many stressed out and I know that we don't have to engage that way of leadership.
Thriving in your leadership goes far beyond being a figurehead or even reaching business goals. To truly thrive as a leader requires seeing your employees as individuals, being open to feedback, and being willing to demonstrate trust by delegating accordingly.
Being an attentive, thriving leader means creatively problem-solving and ensuring that your staff stays motivated. This means both challenging them based on their specific strengths and properly rewarding a job well done. It also means setting clear expectations and making yourself accessible and approachable.
The productivity of your workplace is a direct reflection of your impact as a leader, so don't settle for merely managing, but learn to thrive in your leadership.
Why is it important to work with a Leadership Coach?
Many leaders have the skills and training to do their work. They don't necessarily have the training to deal with people. This is where working with a Leadership Development Coach comes to be very useful.
Here is a short Quiz I put together on what I feel is important for every leader to know and understand in order to lead others well. If you find yourself struggling with some of the statements, then let's set up a time to talk. Use my calendar to set a 30-min. complimentary session with me.
