I recently conducted a workshop on the subject of Character Development Within Emerging Leaders for the Lunch and Learn event conducted by the San Mateo Chamber of Commerce, CA.

Character Development for Emerging Leaders is a valuable topic because we are in a time like no other where this world is filled with competent, driven and intelligent people. However, the missing metric is character.

Understanding how we show up every day and the character strengths connected to it is important for each of us to know. It is not only those strengths that are common to our personalities that is valuable to understand, but the other character strengths that are also available to us within our growth as a leader. 

During the Lunch and Learn I skimmed over the topic briefly to give the participants as much as I could with the time we had.
