A note from Sheeba

Hello Sheeba!

I don't know if you know this but I am a huge Warriors fan! And there is so much that is learned about leadership when you watch the dynamics of a basketball team. Perhaps, I might write a book about that one day!

I bring up the Warriors because this month in particular, much was communicated in simply their actions on and off the court-both good and bad.

We don't often realize all that is communicated without a word being spoken. As leaders, it is important to look at what we say, how we say what we say, and our non-verbal communication. We won't get it all right, but we can learn, grow, and become effective communicators.

So, join me next month for an interactive webinar around communication.

LEADERSHIP

Unfortunately, most of us are never taught how to communicate effectively. Which means with this training, you will walk away with the tools to become more thoughtful and  powerful in your communication. You will be supported to learn how to really listen, care about others, and effectively convey your message while empowering others to do the same.

During this webinar, you will learn

  • The main reason that leads to poor communication
  • Communication styles that are reflective of various personalities
  • Tips and techniques to minimize potential conflict
  • How to promote communication within your team

Join me for this interactive webinar to learn how to minimize conflict and communicate effectively so you can thrive in your leadership.

COACHING

What would it look like to table your assumptions in favor of curiosity? Coaches, remember this is important in the way you show up to your coaching engagements.

Ask questions that reflect a curious mindset. It will certainly make a huge difference in your conversations and relationships because it has the potential to open the dialogue toward deeper awareness.

My question to you would be: What would it take for you to embrace a curious mindset?

 COMMUNICATION IS KEY

Which communication style do you have?  How do you think that affects your leadership? How does it impact your inter-personal relationships?
