Hello Sheeba!
I hope you are doing well. November is one of my favorite months because this month more than any other month serves as a reminder of all that we are to be grateful for in our lives. It is something that we can easily forget in the daily busyness of life.
So, take time to give thanks, display appreciation, and acknowledge others for who they are and how they enhance your life. How would life be different if we did this every day? How would your leadership look different if you embraced a heart of gratefulness?
In Appreciation of Each of You,
LEADERSHIP
So, we are coming to the busiest time of the year too, and time management is ever so crucial when there are so many things happening on a given day. Some strategies that might lead to productivity and efficiency are to:
-
Establish prioritized goals - Always work on the most urgent and important goals and tasks first, and then move on down your list.
-
Learn to say, "NO" - While it’s great to be a team player, it’s also important to know when and how to be assertive and let the person know you can’t handle their request at the moment.
-
Don't be afraid to delegate - Can a task be given to someone else?
-
Get organized - Eliminate useless clutter, set up an effective filing system, have a nearby place for all of the work items you need frequently, and utilize workflow management tools to help you create a productive environment.
-
Take care of your health - A good night’s sleep, healthy eating, and exercise will give you the energy, focus, and stamina required to make the most out of your day.
If you feel like you struggle with time management, then it might be time to have an accountability person that can support you with your goals around time. Contact me for a complimentary session to learn more.
COACHING
With Thanksgiving coming up, it is easy to remember to be grateful, but focusing on gratitude is always a good idea. Take time to ask yourself and your clients, What are you thankful for today?
