Hello Sheeba,

As the year winds down, it's that time again—time to hit the pause button, reflect on the journey, and consider how you might want to step into the next year. What were the highs and lows, and where can you carve out room for improvement?

Let's take time to enjoy the victories—those moments of triumph and accomplishment. Take a moment not only for personal celebrations but extend it to your clients and peers. Shine a light on the contributions of those around you—clients, colleagues, fellow leaders- and recognize the unique strengths that each person brings to the table.

Reflect on the mishaps, the detours, and the stumbling blocks. As you know, none of us are without fault, and all of us has have made our fair share of mistakes. However, acknowledging the lessons learned is key. Look at the areas where growth and improvement sprouted. What did this year teach you?

Gratitude is so important. I have found that keeping a journal for each year is so vital to me. Although, I am not always consistent, I do find that when I read them throughout the years, it serves as a reminder to me of the many, many things that have happened throughout my journey in this life. They serve as a time capsule, a reminder of the blessings and lessons when time inevitably propels us forward.

Now, as the curtain falls on 2023, cast your gaze forward. Craft goals that intertwine personal development with your evolution as a leader. And share these aspirations, not just for yourself but for your team and clients. After all, collective growth propels everyone forward.

Leading isn't always a walk in the park, but growth often comes from overcoming challenges, making changes, and having the space AND support to discuss them. As you consider your leadership journey in 2024, here are some of the ways I can support you and your teams:

1-1 Coaching: These are sessions that are personalized support and guidance that tackles your specific leadership challenges head-on, 360 interview assessments, etc.

Group Training: These are collaborative sessions designed to address common leadership topics like conflict, delegation, having a coaching approach, building relationships, behaviors of a cohesive team, DiSC personality assessments, etc. The trainings are usually conducted online, via Zoom and are 60 – 90 minutes in length, depending on the request.

On-site Team Training: These are tailored strategies to enhance team dynamics. This can include facilitation around team values, communications, understanding the various personalities on your team, etc.

Mentor Coaching: These are sessions that support coaches who are either completing or renewing their ICF credentials. At this time, I am only offering 1-1 Mentor sessions.

Increasing levels of self-awareness can refine a leader’s skills within the area of conflict management because it helps a leader to delve into the root causes of conflicts, understand their own triggers, approach others with empathy and truly listen to the underlying concerns. All of this enables them to facilitate constructive resolutions and create a harmonious work environment.
