Hello Sheeba!
The last 2 weekends have been busy for me as we celebrated my husband's birthday and then Mother's Day. Whenever I think of any celebrations that are centered around family, I am always reminded of the fact that many families deal with all sorts of conflict. Some survive it and others fall apart. This is not isolated to families alone. It can also be seen in organizations, businesses- wherever people need to communicate, manage and relate to one another.
There is no magic pill to minimize conflict. There is, however, a need for understanding, empathy and a willingness to look beyond oneself to communicate effectively.
I have a webinar coming up this Friday that will address this topic of conflict and communication. The registration details are below. If you are not able to attend live, you can receive a copy of the recording if you are registered.
Inspiring You To Thrive,
LEADERSHIP
How many times have you let your emotions take over when stress and conflict arise? How many times have you looked back and wished you had behaved differently?
The time to develop good habits on how to overcome conflict is before you are in the heat of it. You can learn the good habits necessary to communicate effectively now, and be prepared with the tools and skills that will help you respond productively and constructively the next time you are facing any argument, dissension, or frustration.
It's not too late to register for my live webinar:

COACHING
Silence can be so powerful. Quietly listening rather than trying to drive the conversation can allow others the extra time they need to process their thoughts. If you can let silence sit for even a few beats longer than usually feels comfortable, you might be surprised by what else a client might say.
